If you have ever been to Cockle Bay Wharf or Harbourside, Darling Harbour, you have probably noticed the numerous venues owned by Nicks Group . If you venture around the corner to King Street Wharf, you will find a mix of these stunning venues under the one roof.
Nicks Bar & Grill is serving up the best of the lot. Fresh seafood, meat cooked to perfection straight off the hot plate and an extensive beverage list that could satisfy the most picky wine connoisseur from your Sunday lunch group.
The oysters to start were straight from the ocean, served with a shallot vinaigrette and a sesame lime sauce. Then for main course, an ABSOLUTE show stopper! If you want my recommendation, the surf and turf platter for two is a must. Value for money, quality ingredients and the variety on the platter is quite generous. Moreton Bay bugs, Rump steak, Grilled or fried fish of the day, lamb souvlaki, Chicken souvlaki, served with chips and a Greek salad. Have a swipe on through to have a look just how perfect that rump steak was served and just how crispy that grilled fish of the day came to the table. On This day, the fish was barramundi. Perfect!
If you are looking for a mid week lunch venue, Nicks Bar and Grill offer lunch specials for $16 such as rump steak or the $18 specials such as salt and pepper calamari, sirloin steak, seared tuna or king prawn spaghetti. If after works drinks are more your thing, pop into Nicks Bar and Grill after the office has shut down for happy hour. Beer, wine and cocktails specials are available as well as $15 bar plates!
