Blackbird Café – Cockle Bay Wharf

Not only is Blackbird Café open for dinner, but they are also open from 8:30 on weekends, serving up their brunch menu for those hungry punters looking for a morning feed with a spectacular view of Darling Harbour from the iconic Cockle Bay Wharf.

If you ask me for a recommendation, I’ll point you straight in the direction of the Chargrilled Kangaroo served rare, with roasted capsicum, mashed potato and finished with a Jack Daniels sauce. Happy Days!

If you are looking for something a little lighter, they also do your breakfast classics such as smashed avocado or bacon and eggs just to name two.

Oh Did I mention they have quite the impressive, fully stocked bar as well for those who want to wet their whistle! Who ever said no to a cocktails before midday?

Grab a group of hungry friends and head in for a spectacular lunch. Delicious food, tasty beverages and great time await!

Thanks to Jenny and the team from Blackbird Café for looking after me and making sure I left highly satisfied!

Happy Eating!
